I Want To Be Rich?

It’s a cliche, but i have to be rich and i’m sick of being poor and people treating me like s*it. i’m only 17 but i’m obsessed to be a millionaire. i have to. i just have to escape my current life. but i don’t want turn to crime because i do have morals. anyway i have a few skills like good communication. i have 9 GCSE’s a*-c (distinction in business) good with numbers too. and i have a million business ideas but just don’t know how to make them a reality. for example i have this really unique internet idea but can’t make it a reality as i dont know web design, programing etc. i sell bits and bobs to friends and work in a supermarket. and i’m sick and tired of working my nut of for someone else.
would you say its a good idea for a 17 year old to leave college and try to become a entrepreneur?
or to work for someone else get experience and then start my own business?
sorry about all the quesrtions
thanks so much

Fisrt of all, I’d get yourself to college to learn more about designing websites and setting them up. Then you need to have a business plan in place – show to the Princes’ Trust, as they help out young people like you.
Don’t give up or give in to temptation (the fast buck way). You’ll make it in the end.
Stay at work and do both for the moment.
    Good luck

to be a good entrepreneur – you need to take some business courses like accounting and marketing and probably learn html programming – it’s easy in order to get your own basic website started

I know is sounds like this is not legitimate but try creating a free website where you can market name brand products by becoming an affiliate. I’ve done so, its added income and I’ve created a site to wade through all of the rip-off “make money at home crap” that I’ve waded through. There are plenty of people like johnchow who are making bid dollars blogging, you want to create wealth. check out my site, I created it for the novice who never really realized that its eaiser than you think to create a site (like on blogger) and design, obtain product quite easily. BTW, my site is not a get rich scam nor intended/claim to make you rich overnight, however it is designed to provide you with honest information on how to make money with little or no capital investment and the vehicles that are out there to assist you to make it happen.

I am a business advisor to trade and it strikes the fear of god in me when someone says that they want to be a millionare and thats the be all and end all of life. Absolute rubbish. Take a reality check- You re old enough to know there are people who can advise and guide you in business start up in your area I’m sure and if you don’t you damn well should do if you have an ounce of entrepreneurial spirit. Get involved in ( mostly free ) local network events, make a pest of yourself and get noticed whilst at the same time building a pertinant business plan to use as your life / business map as the months and years advance. Wealth will come as a bi-product of a good business idea and roll out but should nver, never, be the sole reason for you going it alone. I feel truly sorry for you that todays society has made you so fixated on wealth as being so easily ( and sorry to say it ) lazily acheived that you see it almost as a right to attain with little or no real effort. Come on man, get yourself together, get your head down, do the supermarket job to pay the bills but stop dreaming/ bitching about being poor and get some advice which will make those dreams a reality.
